One of Nepal’s most ambitious screenwriting programmes: 70 writers and filmmakers in a closed camp, with masterclasses, panel discussions, field visits, creative exercises and peer exchange. Mentored by Robin Bhatt (India) and Jeff Monahan (USA), with sessions from Abhimanyu Nirabi, Shivam Adhikari and Neer Shah, and conversations with Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shri and Kedar Ghimire. The residential format is deliberate: gathering writers in a distraction-free environment produces the immersion and peer bonding that changes careers, and many participants leave with a completed or substantially advanced draft.
