Nepal Film & Cultural Academy (NFCA) is a non-profit & a non-government organization established in August 2017 with the aim of promoting the film culture in Nepal. NFCA’s main objective is to explore the cultures and traditions from all over the world and present it to a global audience. NFCA also aims to establish itself as a laboratory, an educational as well as experimental platform for the study, research and practice of films and filmmaking. As a Nepalese institution, NFCA also hopes to play a big role in the development of film and film culture in the struggling Nepalese film industry.

Nepal International Film Festival is Nepal’s biggest film and media event, with the most audiences and filmmakers involved. NIFF is a non-profit event dedicated to promoting the authentic identity of Nepali cinema and, at the same time, promoting close ties between Nepali and foreign film communities at large. NFCA has the 1st to 6th iterations of the Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) under its belt, the most recent of which was conducted in March 2023 and was a grand success.
Nepal Film & Cultural Academy (NFCA) is a relatively young non-profit comprised of Nepali film industry veterans and long-time filmmakers, primarily formed to conduct large-scale international events in the areas of film and motion picture in Nepal.
