NFCA Screenwriting Workshop 2019, organized by Nepal Film & Cultural Academy (NFCA), invites industry professionals and creatives to further develop their screenwriting and film writing skills by interacting with other professionals and creatives in the forum, and by learning hands on from the workshop’s mentors, highly experienced and accomplished writers from outside of Nepal.

*The 7-day workshop is a closed-camp event that will be held in Chitlang, Markhu or Kunchhal village, and is highly selective of participating individuals. This is not a learning platform for beginners, but is intended as a forum for film and media professionals to further their own skills and knowledge.

16th July 2019 (Asadh 31): Application deadline
16th – 22nd July 2019: Notification of selection
25th July: Deadline for payment of participation fee (Payment must be made within 3 days of selection notification via email)
21st – 27th August 2019: Workshop
The workshop participation fee is set at NPR 10,000 per person (rate after discount / subsidy). This amount offers access to the event’s classes / sessions, accommodations and meals for 7 days in Makwanpur, local transportation (transportation – from Kathmandu – to the venue).
Subsidized rates can only be accessed by Nepali nationals. The non-subsidized participation fee of USD 150 is applicable for expats and aliens.
